The use of local anesthesia to cover the process:
We will inject local anesthetic medications like lignocaine before the process starts. Or, if you are scared of injections, we have an anesthetic cream to be applied to the skin 1 hour before the process to procure topical anesthesia. Our mole removal procedure is scientifically proven to be the best with rare side effects. Sometimes, patients might feel swelling, slight pain, bleeding, post-inflammatory depigmentation, and scarring. But, with passing time and some extra care from our side, you will not even remember these problems existing.
More about radiofrequency surgery:
Radiofrequency surgery will remove moles and other skin lumps anywhere on the body, but mainly on the face, where it is important to get the low-scarring cosmetic outcome. This procedure is not suitable for treating warts or lesions like flat moles or suspected melanoma.
In general, after going through the mole removal scar, you need to give your skin 7 to 14 days’ time to heal. Some of the methods will reduce scarring once the wound starts to heal up. However, the initial care for the said wound is essential for preventing infection and presenting you with the vital chance at minimum scarring.
Radiofrequency mole removal is common for removing moles, which will protrude above the skin’s surface. The process will use a device called Ellman Radiosurgery electrode loop. This product will shave the mole gently, layer by layer, from the skin’s surface. Now, the skin is cauterized at the same time as the device shaves the mole gently.
The radiofrequency mole removal with this tool is the finest option for the evenness of your skin texture. It will offer our expert dermatologists better control over depth of removal and for reducing scarring.
The after-care to follow:
Once the treated is covered, a Band-Aid will be placed over that area for protecting it during the healing process for around 1 to 2 weeks. Patients can easily take a shower the same day and return to their work. The area that has been treated by radiosurgery will remain red temporarily unless there remains deeper underlying pigment for around 3 to 4 months on average. It solely depends on nature's skin color.
After the laser mole removal treatment takes place, there will be a flat wound leftover in that site. This mark will start to fade with every passing time and will fall away from the skin, mostly after a week. Before it does that, make sure to not pick at it; otherwise, you might cause unnecessary bleeding.
Remember to use sunscreen daily to prevent extra sun damage. It is also highly recommended to use a healing serum on the wound daily after the treatment. Our dermatologists from Labelle will advise you on the best healing lotion to use.
After the laser mole removal process takes place, don’t keep the wounded area dry. It is important to keep that place hydrated to prevent the formation of scarring. You must also keep that wound covered for few weeks for the duration of the healing process. It provides the best cosmetic results.

Mole pigmentation might reoccur in case there are hyper pigmented cells located right under the skin’s surface. You can see this pigmentation within 6 to 8 weeks, right after the process takes place. In case the pigmentation takes place after providing the radio frequency mole removal treatment, it is highly recommended for re-treatment of that area.
This process has nothing to do with the laser mole removal but just a matter of skin’s pigment. If any such reaction takes place after the treatment, we at Labelle will look into some extra treatments to address the growing concern.
