Causes behind Pigmentation formation:

UV light exposure:

Whether from sun or any artificial light source, UV light can result in hyper pigmentation. It can take place if you haven’t been using any kind of sun protection creams on your skin. Some of the other causes of these pigmented spots are Chloasma, Riehl's melanosis, Poikiloderma of civatte and more. Some medicines can also cause pigmentation.

Apart from that, if you are pregnant or suffering from liver diseases, pituitary tumor, Addison's disease or Hemochromatosis, you might get these spots on your skin.

Hyperpigmentation Treatment at Labelle

We have a committed team working towards all kinds of hyperpigmentation treatment procedures. So, you will be guided at every stage on ways to make necessary changes to lifestyle.

Laser treatment:

Here for pigmentation treatment, our expert dermatologists will be using laser energy for removing the skin layer by layer. It is one way to destroy the skin pigments. However, some temporary risks included with this process are redness, swelling, bruising, scarring, tightness, infection or change in skin texture.

Chemical peels:

Here for hyperpigmentation treatment, we will deal with a combination of multiple solutions like glycolic acid and salicylic acid. It helps in removing the top skin layer to reveal the healthier and even skin tone under the primary layer. However, here you might suffer from skin irritation temporarily.

There are two types available and both will help in physically eroding the surface skin cells. With the help of crystal microdermabrasion, machine will emit fine crystals through wand that will rub against skin to scrape off the unwanted skin cells. Then we have the diamond-tipped microdermabrasion. Here, the wand’s abrasive end will be used for covering the same purpose. After the pigmentation treatment process, the skin might be a little bit pink for sometimes, but these risks are pretty low to say the last.

With proper sunscreen and cover up, you can actually treat your dark spots well.
